About Us

Palisade Art Lovers began in 1964 in the basement of a local church in Palisade, Colorado when a group of artists decided to paint together.  Since then PALS members gather once a month to talk art, create art, and critique each other’s artwork. Meeting on the first Wednesday of the month from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, often a guest artist is invited to give a short presentation or demonstrate a new media. Other meetings are workshops that promote artistic growth awareness, and fun. The group’s goal is to “Promote Art Locally” and for 34 years PALS major promotional event has been the Palisade Art Lovers Annual Peach Blossom Art Show. Professional, as well as amateur artists have been invited to participate in one of the Grand Valley’s largest art show.

While meetings are usually held in Palisade,  the group is open to members from all over the Western Slope. Visit our Facebook page - Palisade Art Lovers
